College Football Play via Paul Stone

Iowa +18 over Ohio State  – The Ohio State Buckeyes are riding high after last week’s come-from-behind 39-38 victory over Penn State.

By virtue of the win which kept their national title aspirations alive, the Buckeyes debuted at No. 6 this week in the 2017 season’s initial College Football Playoff Rankings.

Strange things, however, can happen in college football during the first Saturday in November, and the Iowa Hawkeyes have certainly performed their share of magic through the years in the friendly confines of Kinnick Stadium.
The Hawkeyes are an uninspiring 5-3 this season, but their three losses have all been by seven points or less.
Perhaps more importantly, Iowa is 6-1 against the spread as an underdog versus Top 10 opponents since the start of the 2007 season.

Ohio State should win Saturday’s contest based on its overall talent edge, but the points and spot are simply too attractive to pass up.

Take Iowa plus 18 over the Buckeyes.
