Paul Stone’s College Football Pick

Houston -8 over Cincinnati
The American Athletic Conference has certainly drawn the attention of the college football world this season.Undefeated Memphis shocked Southeastern Conference power Mississippi last month, while ESPN’s College Gameday was on hand last week to watch previously-undefeated Temple take mighty Notre Dame to the wire before falling in the final moments.
While Memphis (ranked No. 13 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings) and Temple (No. 22) have attracted much of the media attention, it is No. 25 Houston which just might be the best of the bunch.

Cougar dual threat quarterback Greg Ward Jr. is on track to top 3,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing this season and has even garnered some Heisman Trophy mention.
Look for the Houston to serve notice to the rest of the AAC that they ‘may have a problem’ with the Cougars this season. Lay the 8 points and take Houston to defeat Cincinnati by double digits.
