The New York Jets are 10-point underdogs vs. The Houston Texans at most Las Vegas sports books (LVH and Caesars both at Jets +10) as of lunchtime on Monday. The line will probably trend towards Jets +11 at kickoff, as the late steam on Houston is evident. What is also evident is that whether it’s Tim Tebow or Mark Sanchez under center, The Jets will remain big underdogs. Usually, a QB change will affect the line somewhat, however, R.J. Bell from Pregame.com explains in an article from Larry Brown Sports that from the point of view of Vegas oddsmakers, Tebow and Sanchez make no difference in making The Jets just as horrible as they are now.
