We won’t say good bye to Football Central at the Westgate just yet, however, it might be time to start looking for “We’ll Miss You” cards at the Hallmark store.
Anyone who has visited Las Vegas over the years knows that the town is in a constant state of flux. Residencies come and go, attractions and shows appear and disappear, and casino resorts change their name, branding, etc. For me, if it actually happens, there is one potential change that will sting a bit. The Football Central NFL watch party on Sundays in the Westgate Theater is currently being reevaluated by the resort. Football Central will be dark for a second straight Sunday this week as Westgate brass reexamines the weekly event. Football Central was/is a complimentary piece to what is considered the best sports book in town – the behemoth Westgate Super Book, which is still there in all of its glory for sports bettors.
It is expected that more concrete news about the future status of Football Central will come out early next week. Until then, we’ll keep our fingers crossed.

This was THE BEST PLACE TO WATCH FOOTBALL on Sundays. I would commute from L.A. just to watch the big, huge screens. It would be sad to not have it anymore. Where else should I go?
