The Quad (formerly Imperial Palace) recently underwent some massive renovations as part of Caesars Entertainment’s Linq project along the Las Vegas Strip. The Quad has a great mid-strip location but up to now, perhaps the massive food portions at Hash House a Go Go or the Classic Auto Collection were the only reasons to visit the place. That may change a bit with The Quad’s new sports book that is slated to open in November.
The new sports book (or should I say sports booQ – sorry had to do it) will be much more scaled down than the old sports book currently located on the second floor of The Quad. The old space would attract a crowd on occasion but was seldom very crowded as it was a tad cavernous and didn’t have very good screens/monitors. Different story with the new and improved sports book however.
The new spot will be located on the main casino floor (as opposed to the old second floor location) across from The Catalyst Bar. The sports book staff at most Caesars properties are great – if the staff here is anything like the friendly folks over at the Flamingo or across the street at Caesars, The Quad sports book has the potential to be a winner.
The new sports book at The Quad:
Location: Main casino floor across from The Catalyst Bar
Seating: Approximately 50
Screens: 30 HD Screens throughout the sports book
Windows: 5 Betting Windows
Free Drinks: Complimentary Drink Tickets for horse players and for minimum sports bets (hint: Tip!)
Opening: Scheduled November 2013
