William Hill Sports Book at Buffalo Bill’s – State Line

Most of my fellow Southern Californians that have made the 4-hour journey on Interstate 15 to and from Vegas have seen it. Some have even stopped here – usually for a quick bathroom break or perhaps to get that last crack at a slot machine or blackjack table.

Up to recently, the sports books at Primm Nevada (aka State Line) weren’t much to speak of. That has changed, however, since William Hill opened up shop at State Line, and their sports book at Buffalo Bill’s in particular, is pretty sharp.

Numerous flat screens and a comfortable mix of seating is what I found when stopping by in order to get some baseball bets in before getting to Las Vegas.

Seating and screens at the Buffalo Bill’s sports book are plentiful and free drink tickets (via William Hill) are offered. I made a $50 sports wager and was given 2 drink tickets when I stopped by in the morning on my way into Vegas. The ticket writer was knowledgeable and friendly, which is usually the case with William Hill staff.

A few other things to know about The William Hill sports book at Buffalo Bill’s State Line…..

  • The sports book opens at 9 am. So if you’re heading into Vegas and not sure whether you’ll get there before kickoff or the first pitch, making a stop at State Line to get your bet(s) in is a good option.
  • You can cash your tickets once you get to Vegas! Any William Hill sports book in town will cash your ticket, so you don’t have to worry about heading back to State Line to get your winnings. William Hill sports books can be found at The Riviera, Hooters, and multiple spots Downtown (The D, Plaza, and Downtown Grand).
  • William Hill usually offers the best odds on future bets. So if you are looking to make that Future play on next year’s Super Bowl, World Series Champion, NBA champion, etc. This is a great place to stop by and make those types of wagers.

William Hill is of course a famous sports book from the UK with a strong online sports book – see this detailed  review of William Hill for more information about its online sports book, casino and poker rooms.
