College Football Saturday Selections

***Notre Dame +6.5 vs Wisconsin

Notre Dame QB Jack Coan faces his old team this Saturday as the Irish face Wisconsin at Soldier Field in Chicago. Some will criticize Notre Dame for “squeaking by” teams many think they should’ve blown out, however Coan’s consistency (8 TD vs 2 INT) in those games should be noted – close wins or not. Notre Dame does have its issues on defense, but Wisconsin QB Graham Mertz has amassed just 141 yards and 185 yards passing vs Eastern Michigan and Penn State respectively – both of those contests were played at home. This is a perfect scenario for Notre Dame to bust out in a high profile game. In the Brian Kelly era (2010-present), The Irish are 16-8 (66.7%) SU and  14-10 (58%) ATS when playing at a neutral site. Peg that to a Wisconsin team that is 9-11 (45%) SU & ATS in the same neutral site scenario during the same timeframe. Take the Irish and the points.
