Kansas State +7 over Oklahoma State – Mike Gundy-coached teams typically overachieve and exceed the public’s expectations, but 2018 has clearly not been his grandest production.
Oklahoma State is 4-2 on the season and has uncharacteristically dropped two straight conference games at home, losing to Texas Tech (41-17) and Iowa State (48-42).
While the Cowboys have sputtered and stumbled, the same can be said about Bill Snyder’s Kansas State Wildcats.
At 2-4, the Wildcats need to win four of their final six regular season games to become bowl eligible.
Still, Snyder’s teams have historically thrived as an underdog.
Since Snyder returned to the sideline in 2009, Kansas State is a money making 24-9 ATS as a single-digit conference underdog, including covers against Texas and Baylor its past two games in a pair of straight up defeats.
The Wildcats desperately need a victory over Oklahoma State in Manhattan Saturday.
Even if they fall short of that goal, I look for the game to be close.
Take Kansas State and 7 points.
