College Football Pick for Thursday 11/5/20

*Wyoming -2 (first half) at Colorado State:  Wyoming had their way last week vs a Hawaii squad that does not have a strong defense….a defense that in many ways is similar to Colorado State. Colorado State (like Hawaii) allowed 24 first downs last week to a Fresno State team that is not an offensive juggernaut by any means. Wyoming will look to pound it out on the ground until Colorado State finds a way to stop it, which I don’t see them doing. Colorado State head coach Steve Adazzio has not shown his hand in terms who will start at QB for his Rams – running QB Todd Centeio or the passer Patrick O’Brien. I expect it will be O’Brien as the Rams get a couple of WRs back this week…if so, I see O’Brien taking a bit to get into a rhythm and possibly getting it going later in the game – but not in the first half. Going back to last season, Wyoming has led at halftime by 3+ points in six of their last seven games. They have a better defense than Colorado State and I see the Cowboys coming out strong in this ‘Border War” rivalry game. Take Wyoming first half and lay the 2 points.
