College Basketball Plays for 12/26/20

**Detroit Mercy -3.5 vs Oakland: Both of these teams have taken on strong competition so far and their records reflect it. Oakland is still seeking its first win of the season and I don’t think it will happen at Calihan Hall in Detroit today. Detroit guard Antoine Davis will be playing on NBA courts soon and in spite of the tough competition (Notre Dame, Michigan State, Wright State) he’s averaging double digits including a 24-point performance vs Sparty earlier in the month. Oakland won’t be able to stop him and I see Detroit riding him to a victory and a cover today. Home team is the play.

**Wisconsin Green Bay +15.5 at Wright State: Wright State is a solid squad, and after an 4-1 ATS start to the season I think today’s point spread is a tad off. Laying 15.5 is too much vs a Wisconsin Green Bay squad that has equally good underlying numbers as Wright State but not much to show for it. Wisconsin GB took blow out losses vs Wisconsin and Minnesota….Wright State is good, but not 16- points-better good. Look for Wisconsin GB to hit enough threes and take advantage of Wrights State’s turnovers to keep the game from getting out of reach. Wright State hit nearly 60% from the field last out….that will regress slightly today. Take the points here with the big road underdog.
