***Syracuse +14 vs Clemson
Clemson continues to burn money as their underwhelming 2-2 start has translated to an 0-4 ATS record. Syracuse is 4-1 ATS and they continue to be disrespected by odds makers – especially at home. The Orange got points and covered last week at the Carrier Dome vs. a strong Wake Forest team. They also handed visiting Liberty its only loss of the season thus far – winning outright as a home dog. Taking a stand against Clemson here and their very bad 4.4 yard per play offense…..Give me Syracuse and the points.
***Cal +14 at Oregon
The Cal Bears are 5-1 ATS as road underdogs since 2019 and they catch +14 at Oregon on Friday night. On the flipside is Oregon who in the same timeframe is 4-8 (33%) ATS as a home favorite. Both team’s offenses have similar yards per play numbers and many underlying defensive numbers are fairly even between these two Pac-12 sides. Oregon is banged up and as much as one thinks that there will be a big bounce-back here after the upset loss to Stanford, they may very well have another dogfight brewing in the always wacky Pac 12. Take the points.
