**Rutgers +2.5 at Maryland: When it comes to a solid defense taking on a solid offense, I tend to lean to the defense and that’s what we have here. Maryland’s first test against a good defense did not go well as they lost by double digits to Clemson. I like Rutgers on the boards as well. There’s a reason the point spread is hovering around only 2 or 2.5 in Vegas….Take the road underdog here.
**Central Arkansas +13 (first half) at Mississippi: There’s a tad of value in this halftime line as Central Arkansas has played a tough early schedule (St Louis, Arkansas, Memphis) and has been able to stay in striking distance in the first half in a majority of their early contests. Central Arkansas has multiple players who can score in double digits – offensively, I see them staying in arms reach of Ole Miss early on. Expect an open game, which will open up some scoring opportunities for Central Arkansas.
