Kansas State +6 over Texas Tech – At 4-6, Kansas State can still achieve bowl eligibility by defeating Texas Tech at home this week and Iowa State on the road next week.

Bill Snyder’s performance as a betting underdog has been well chronicled in recent years: Kansas State is 34-14 against the spread (ATS) as a dog (71 percent) since the start of 2010. In Saturday’s more specific role as a Big XII home underdog, the Wildcats are a money making 10-3 ATS in their last 13.
Talented Texas Tech true freshman quarterback Alan Bowman is expected to sit out for the second straight week due to a collapsed lung. His replacement, Jett Duffey, is an exciting dual threat type who accounted for more than 500 total yards offense in last week’s 41-34 loss at Texas.
Duffey, however, has been turnover prone and committed three miscues (two fumbles and an interception) last week in Austin. Ultimately, those errors played a large role in the Red Raiders’ loss.
Take Kansas State plus 6 points.
