Las Vegas Sports Book News – Not one but two new sports books are set top open on the Vegas strip….and both will be taking bets prior to Super Bowl.
CG Gaming confirmed that the new main casino level sports book at the Cosmopolitan will be open for business this Wednesday. This is several days prior to the Big Game on Sunday, February 7 and it will surely be jam packed at kickoff. Many other properties have completed renovations to their sports books, and aside from The Linq’s new sports book set up, this is the first major “new” sports book along the Vegas Strip in several years .

The Cosmopolitan isn’t the only Strip property with a new Las Vegas sports book. Casino Royale, located further up Las Vegas Boulevard, will also be opening their new William Hill sports book. The home of $1 Michelobs and $2.49 foot-long hot dogs will finally incorporate a sports book into their casino.

The new sports book space is more of a sports bar with a betting kiosk (think of something along the lines of the William Hill set up at SLS). According to William Hill, Casino Royale’s new sports book will be open before the Big Game on Sunday.
