LVH Sports Book Review

LVH Race and Sports Book – The SuperBook

Seats: Seating for over 300, with an additional 1,000+ seats for special events in the LVH Theater

Screens: Approximately 50 TVs and 30 big screens, with an additional 300 square foot jumbo screen.

The LVH “SuperBook” is just that, boasting the largest floor area of any sports book in the world. And if that were not enough, the massive LVH Theater hosts NFL and March Madness parties where you can catch all of the action on massive jumbo screens while enjoying the surround sound speaker system.

Race and Sports Book Director, Jay Kornegay, and his team do an outstanding job catering to both locals and those visiting Vegas from out of town. They are the first Las Vegas property to post NFL lines (Sundays at 4pm) and the array of parlay cards and proposition bets that the LVH offers is second to none amongst Las Vegas Sports Books. Their SuperBook NFL contest is also very popular amongst locals with big payoffs for the shrewd pro football prognosticator.

Drinks are free as long as you are betting on horse racing or sports, but be patient on big sports days as the LVH is a popular place amongst sports bettors and demand for cocktail service is high. If you prefer to purchase your refreshments, there are $2 food and drink specials during the Football Central parties. Also, the Eighth Pole Bar, located next to the sports book is a nice spot with ample TV screens.

As far as food options go, cheap eats are available during the Football Central parties and the Superbook Snack Bar offers the usual…well, snack bar food. But you don’t come to LVH for the food…..for the ultimate Vegas Sports Book experience, the LVH is a must stop while in town.

Odds and Ends: The LVH offers the most convenient parking set up of any Las Vegas Sports Book. There is a parking area to the rear of The LVH, which is directly adjacent to the SuperBook entrance. It doesn’t get any easier than this for access to the sports book. If you are choosing to go vehicle free, there is a monorail stop at the LVH that also adds to the convenience of getting to this off-strip property.

The LVH would get a perfect 5 out of 5 ranking if the LVH property itself was in a little better shape (the sports book bathroom is not a great experience). Nonetheless, this is a great spot that caters to all types of sports fans.
