MGM Sports Book or Tropicana?
MGM Sports Book is a nice spot, but inevitably, it can get very crowded – especially during football season. There is a more than acceptable option a short walk away at the neighboring Tropicana, which houses one of the most underrated sports books on the strip.
The Tropicana sports book is operated by Cantor/CG Gaming and is a solid option if you are staying at the south end of the strip (Excalibur, Luxor, NY NY, etc). Great screens, a nice layout and the chance to perhaps score a seat to watch the game when the adjacent MGM sports book is packed.

There is a pedestrian walkway you can take from MGM to the Tropicana which leads you directly to the sports book. You’ll be shepherded to the sports book via an escalator once you enter the Tropicana and you’ll immediately see the HD screens and hopefully, an empty seat or two in order to catch the game.
