Heaney’s efficiency crumbles once hitters get on base and the fact that he is averaging just shy of a walk per inning over his last 3 starts in Arlington doesn’t inspire confidence. The results off his lack of command at home lately? A pair of no-decisions and a loss to Detroit last week. Astros starter Shawn Dubin’s 10.00+ ERA in a tiny sample size of 5 innings pitched is deceiving. Dubin has swing-and-miss stuff and can generate a lot off grounders. I see him keeping Rangers bats in control then allowing the Astros’ top-5 bullpen do the rest.
