Best Las Vegas Sports Books – SLS Review. Gourmet burgers and the Vegas sports book scene intersect quite nicely at the William Hill sports book at SLS.
The William Hill sports book at SLS is directly connected to Umami Burger, a gourmet burger restaurant that also has locations in the trendier neighborhoods of Northern and Southern California. The sports book space blends itself into the restaurant, which has normal table seating as well as a lounge area with nice HD flat screens. A counter area directly in front of the odds boards and ticket window is the only area directly dedicated to the sports book. If you are lucky enough to grab one of these seats, you’ll have a great vantage point to the odds boards and HD screens – not to mention also being close enough to make that in-game wager, which you can also do via the William Hill mobile app.
William Hill Sports Book at SLS is Located Within Umami Burger
Given that you are in a restaurant environment and there is an outdoor beer garden adjacent, there are no free drinks for sports bettors available at the SLS sports book (William Hill sports books offer up drink tickets at their other locations around town). Hopefully that changes down the line but unlikely given the unique “mixed-use” set up, which in some ways is similar to Lagasse’s Stadium at Palazzo minus the stadium seating area.

The set up here is unique to Vegas sports books and the whole vibe of the space is actually pretty solid. The lounge/restaurant seating, plethora of HD screens, and the friendly William Hill staff make you want to like this place. If SLS can weather the growing pains of being the new kid on the block with a challenging north strip location, and get a following a la’ the Cosmopolitan, they can really have something with this sports book.
