The D Las Vegas Refunding Money to Packers Bettors

If you placed a sports book bet on The Green Bay Packers for this past Monday Night’s NFL game, hopefully it was at The D. The Las Vegas Sun is reporting that the recently remodeled hotel and casino in Downtown Vegas (formerly Fitzgerald’s) is doing something very unique as far as Vegas sports books go – The D is actually refunding money to those who bet the Packers at the property’s sports book (The D sports book is operated by William Hill).

Kudos to The D’s owner, Derek Stevens, for doing this. Not only is he going to get great publicity for his newly renovated downtown joint, he’s also going to win the hearts of many a sports bettor, especially those holding Packers tickets who took a hit from that fiasco created by the replacement referees on Monday night. Although the sports book at the The D is small by Vegas standards, The Longbar, The D’s signature bar, is becoming a very popular spot for sports viewing – The D is certainly on our list as a place to visit next time we are Downtown.
