Arkansas +11 over Auburn _ Just six years removed from a BCS national championship and three years from a second appearance in the title game, Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn was squarely on the hot seat entering the 2016 campaign.
The season’s first three weeks did little to cool down Malzahn’s detractors, but, when officials ruled time had expired negating a game-winning LSU touchdown on Sept. 24, Auburn’s season took a turn for the better. As many LSU players celebrated, officials ruled the clock had hit zeroes and Auburn had escaped with a 18-13 home victory which started its current three-game winning streak.

The Razorbacks are Double-Digit Underdogs This Week vs Auburn

Coming off a bye week, 21st-ranked Auburn (4-2) hosts 17th-ranked Arkansas (5-2) in a critical league contest for both schools.
The game opened at 7.5 Sunday afternoon, but mostly one-sided action on
Auburn has driven the number to double digits. In my estimation, the line has gotten completely out of line as these teams have similar power ratings. Auburn also finds itself in an unfavorable pointspread role as it is only 4-11 ATS as a double-digit SEC favorite since late in the 2005 season. Arkansas, on the other hand, has covered six straight games as an underdog on its opponents’ home field.
Taking the inflated points and Hogs in this one.
