Las Vegas Sports Book MLB Pros – Keep an Eye on Darvish & Kershaw Injuries
Both Clayton Kershaw and Yu Darvish will miss their opening day (stateside opening day for Kershaw) starts and perhaps more as both are dealing with injuries. The Kershaw news broke yesterday with reports indicating that he had an upper back issue (anything to do with the 15 hour flight last week?) while Darvish has been dealing with a neck/back issue for over a week now.

William Hill Sports books in Las Vegas have both Darvish (+350) and Kershaw (+550) listed as one and two on the MLB season strike out odds board. If either pitcher only misses a start or two, it shouldn’t affect things much – however, any extended time away from the mound will open up an opportunity for some decent odds on other strike out artists like Max Scherzer (+650), Justin Verlander (+950), and Chris Sale (+1100). Or perhaps there is an unknown pitcher (Yordano Ventura, Andrew Cashner) that could surprise and make the field bet (+450) a winner?
