Over the past several years, Hooters has been a perennial after thought as far as Las Vegas sports books go. Tucked away behind the Tropicana, Hooters is known as a “value” resort with a no-nonsense “classic” Vegas look…..the sports book pretty much followed suit.
Upgrades have been completed at the Hooters sports book, and you know what? Things look good in the upgraded space. The William Hill operated sports book has ample seating, an adjacent bar with several drink specials, and a good number of screens. The drink specials include $3 beers and $2 shots. The sports book is located adjacent to the main casino floor, which has $1 blackjack for those looking for low-roller gambling.
What is also unique compared to other modern Las Vegas sports books is the dark ambiance the sports book maintains. This was more the norm back in the day and it adds a lounge vibe to the space. Also, William Hill sports books offer big betting menus, great odds, and in-game betting, which is a lot of fun for sports bettors.
If you’re a sports book fan or find yourself at the south end of the strip (MGM/Tropicana area) consider giving the new and improved Hooters sports book a look.

Been betting at Hooters for years because of the easy access to the Book from the garage. Saw the changes happening and was worried they’d ruin everything. They didn’t – it’s comfortable and welcoming with more than enough TVs and a full WH counter. Rest of the property looking better too. Great to see a ‘little guy’ doing the right thing!
