Angels +108 vs Astros
Justin Verlander will take the mound for the Houston Astros after a long road back from Tommy John surgery. Verlander had a great spring but so did Angels starter Noah Syndergaard who is also back from Tommy John after a being away for over a year (he did pitch a few innings at the end of last season).
The Angels come into this game after a pair of embarrassing performances vs Houston on Thursday and Friday. Verlander has not been dominant vs Angels batters expected to be in the lineup. Plus, Ohtani and Trout have taken Verlander deep on multiple occasions.
I expect Syndergaard to do well in his Angels debut and continue his solid form from the spring (1.04 ERA 0.58 ERA)
