**Nicholls State -4 at McNeese State. Nicholls State is battle tested on the road taking on the likes of TCU, Wisconsin, Purdue, and Baylor away from home prior to the start of Southland Conference play. What is also encouraging is that they covered the spread in a couple of those games, including giving Wisconsin a scare. Their back court is playing very well right now and the Nicholls offense protects the ball much better than McNeese State – something that is key for road games. McNeese State is sub .500 ATS at home this season. Nicholls, in my opinion, will have the best player on the court in Senior Guard Ty Gordon tonight. He is complimented by other strong guards that makes their offense hard to defend. Laying 4 is more than fair here….take the road favorite.
