**Iona -7 vs Towson State: Iona is a on a 3-game winning streak ATS and straight up. They are head and shoulders above Towson State when looking at underlying stats and I don’t see anyone on the Towson side of the defense that will be able to stop Gaels guard Isaiah, who is flourishing under Rick Patino. Take the home favorite here.
**Santa Clara+6 (first half) at USC: Santa Clara is not a bad squad and their sneaky-good defense should keep them in this game. USC, who have been away from action since Dec 7, will take a bit to shake the cobwebs loose and I see this game staying close for a bit.
**South Florida+9.5 at Memphis: I don’t have a problem backing South Florida on the road here as their most recent game away Tampa was a win at Cincinnati. Add to that is the Bulls’ 5-1-1 ATS record in their last 7 games on the road. South Florida should have the rebound edge here and the 9.5 point spread is a tad too much in my opinion. Take the points here.
**Tulsa +9.5 vs Houston: Tulsa’s underlying numbers are solid….Houston, who has looked good in their 7-0 start, shouldn’t be favored by this much in this spot on the road. Houston has only covered once in their last 5 road games and Tulsa’s defense should create some problems for the Cougars. I expect the Golden Hurricane to be up for this contest. Take the points here.
