**(734) SMU -5.5 at Cincinnati: Cincy’s visit to SMU does not come at a good time as the Bearcats are on a 5-game losing streak. Cincinnati was favored in four of the aforementioned five straight up losses, so they have been burning money. SMU is 5-2 (71.4%) ATS this season and 4-1 ATS when favored. SMU’s Kendrick Davis should have himself a game tonight vs a Cincinnati squad with a dismal defensive efficiency number. Lay the points.
**(742) Eastern Illinois +4 vs Murray State: Neither of these teams have been very successful ATS, but as a favorite, I do not like what I see from Murray State. The Racers have covered only one out of 6 games when favored and are 0-3 ATS as road favorites. Their last straight up win was nearly a month ago. Eastern Illinois tops Murray State in underlying turnover, assist numbers, and are battle tested vs. the likes of Marquette, Wisconsin, and Dayton – they covered in 2 of those 3 matchups. I will gladly take the points here.
**(759)Nevada at San Diego State OVER 136: These teams are a combined 8-3 to the over when the total is set in a range like tonight’s over/under of 136. The Aztecs have averaged 74 points in their last three contests while Nevada has hit the “over” in 5 of their last 6 games…I think the Wolfpack offense is good enough to get some buckets against a defensively underrated Aztecs squad.
