College Basketball Plays for Tuesday 12/8/20

**Iowa -3 vs N Carolina: Luke Garza is one of 5 starters that returns for an Iowa squad that has looked the part early on vs lower level competition. North Carolina showed toughness vs a strong Texas squad but the early underlying numbers aren’t adding up (Assists/Turnovers). As of mid morning pacific time, 60% of the play is on North Carolina as the line has moved from -4 to -3. Experience matters and I think Iowa gets it done at home today vs a slightly overrated Tarheel squad. Lay the small number here.

**Notre Dame +6 vs Ohio State: Notre Dame seems to be undervalued here after a loss to Michigan State and an unexciting 8-point win vs Detroit Mercy, who is no pushover by the way. Ohio State is talented and has rolled vs inferior competition early on. This is a big step up in class vs a Notre Dame team that will be on their home court and will be focused on playing better defense.+6 on the Fighting Irish is a good number here as I expect a good effort from Mike Brey’s side today. Take the points.

St. Louis -21.5 vs  Central Arkansas: St. Louis is unranked (for now) and has rolled through early competition, including a win and cover vs. LSU. The Billikens are a scoring machine and very efficient…this sets up for a blowout vs a Central Arkansas team with poor underlying numbers. Lay it.
