Twins at Braves 4:20 pm pacific
Braves SP Bryce Elder has pumped out good starts for Atlanta over the past 2 months. He looked strong against the Phillies last week shutting down the Phils for 7 innings. Twins SP Joe Ryan cleared 110+ pitches in his last start and in his career, he has not been a workhorse. Ryan uses a splitter-heavy approach, throwing that pitch nearly 30% of the time – I don’t trust him tonight coming off of a career high pitch count. Twins hitters continue their strike-out- heavy ways and I don’t see them being any different vs. Elder tonight.
