***Iowa -8.5 vs Maryland: Maryland is challenged offensively and their underlying scoring numbers really take a hit when they are away from the Xfinity Center. Iowa has taken care of business ATS-wise hitting at nearly 70% so far in 2021/2022. This is Maryland’s first true road game of the season and it’s a tough place to start in what should be a lively crowd in Iowa City for this Big 10 conference opener. 6-8 Iowa guard Keegan Murray reminds me a tad of Magic Johnson (minus the passing) – he will give Maryland all they can handle tonight. Lay it with Iowa who takes care of the ball and should put Maryland away by double digits.
