**(760) Appalachian State -6.5 vs Georgia Southern. Appalachian State has covered six games in a row and I think they will make it a lucky seven Thursday night at home vs Georgia Southern. Georgia Southern has played in some very close games over the past couple of weeks however their underlying offensive numbers do not jive with good play. Their turnover and assist numbers are not very good and both stats plunge on the road. Appalachian State is no juggernaut defensively, however they have more than held their own defending in conference games at home. Third year coach Dustin Kerns has the Mountaineers playing well at the moment and laying the 6.5 points here is more than acceptable.
