On the other side, Royals rookie SP Alec Marsh bounced back well from his first career start vs the Angels, where he struggled. In career start number 2 (a 5-inning performance on the road vs the Twins) Marsh looked better as he allowed only 2 earned runs and struck out 5 batters in as many innings. If Marsh can continue to improve on his command (he already has swing and miss stuff), he could do well at home vs Rays batters that strike out a lot. This matchup at Kaufmann Stadium looks like a pitchers duel.
