Mariners SP Brian Woo should rack up the Ks against Twins batters that hold a 27.1% strike out rate vs righty pitchers. If you toss out his his early June MLB debut, Woo has achieved a 2.20 ERA. He’s a budding ace that should quiet Twins bats tonight. Twins SP Bailey Ober is no slouch. It appears that he has figured out a fix for his gopheritis as he has not allowed a homerun in his last 3 starts (Ober allowed a combined 5 homeruns in his 3 starts prior). His fly ball rate tells a different story however as Ober is over 50% allowing hitters to get the ball in the air. In a pitcher’s duel, like this one appears to be, one homerun can be the difference. The -130 is more than acceptable if backing the home team tonight.
